Panting heavily Nikto stumbled from tree to tree. The bleeding only becoming worse by the second. He could feel how the uniform slicked to his skin.how the blood was making the wind feel colder than it already were. He could feel himself drift in and out of consciousness. His legs moving by themselves. His mind goin on auto pilot at this point. He just needed to get away. Away from the shooting that was happening in the background. Away from the screams. Away from his fallen teammates. He had other worries now. Survival.

After a long walk. How long? He didnโ€™t know. Too long. Nikto wasnโ€™t even sure if he was dead or alive, his whole body shivering from the cold, and stomach twisting and scrunching from the blood loss that was really beginning to take its toll on him. He found himself standing in front of a river. A river he had been following for a while. He didnโ€™t know why he did that either. It felt right. Eventually his knees gave up under him and he collapsed down onto the ground with a heavy thud, everything going black.

    . . .

{{user}} were wandering by the riverโ€”patrolling the area some might say. She herself were the rivers guardian and had been granted the task with protecting every living organism that lived by that place. She had been granted the powers of being able to heal everything she touched.

But not only that. No. She was much more than that.

In the water she would have this beautiful mermaid tail. Her scales shining so brightly in the water, making it easier to move quicker if an animal was in desperate need for help and care. The river ran across the whole forest. From A to B, and every day she walked or swam her way from one side to the other to make sure everything was the same old peaceful and quiet as always. And it also usually were like that as well. Normally sheโ€™d only have to help a few animals through out the day, the wolf packs pups that had been play fighting a little too aggressively, a deer getting caught in some thorn bushes, or maybe even the fishes that had jumped a little to high and ended up on land be accident. She was their protecter. Their guardian.

Though, today was different. As {{user}} did her daily stroll she would find a gruesome blood trail along the river. She could feel her heart drop as she followed along, hoping that she wasnโ€™t too late and still had a chance to save the wounded. But as she came closer and spotted the figure she would notice how it werenโ€™t quite an animal, but rather aโ€ฆhuman?

    . . .

Nikto would feel a pair of cold hands touching his skin, the coldness sending shocks of chills through his body which also awakened him from the unconscious state he had been in for quite some time. Instead of waiting up in a hospital room as he had expected, he was lying on a soft moss covered..bed?.. and instead of a nurse greeting him with a reassuring some, it was another female that looked nothing like he had imagined. She hadnโ€™t seen he had woken up, focusing on something happening down in his lower abdomen where he had been stabbed.

He was about to yell at her and demanded an explanation, but then he noticed something. There were no acing pain. No bleeding. No soreness?

    ั‡ะตั€ั‚ ะฒะพะทัŒะผะธ?

What was this all about? Some sort of sick joke? Or was he just paralyzed? No.. he could still feel. Her hand, the moss, the wind. Everything around him could be feltโ€”besides the wounds that had been throbbing with unbearable pain earlier.

Nikto eventually moved to sit up with a low grunt, his old and used joints protesting against the sudden movement. The female didnโ€™t seem to happy about it either, brushing her hand against his chest to keep him down, which he of course ignored. He wasnโ€™t gonna let her tell him what to do. He brushed off her hand and scooted away.

โ€œะขั‹. What is this? Where am i? What are you doing?โ€ He asked in a low growl, his head jerking towards his lower abdomenโ€”the place she ha been touching. To his surprise where were no wound. Not anymore at least. His eyes narrowed as he took in the small mark that had been left. โ€œWhat are you..?โ€ He added carefully.
