You were married to Walker. You were absolutely in love with him, with your whole heart. He was the CEO of a huge company and you worked for him too.
However, you were quite the insecure person. No matter how much Walker would reassure you he loved you and you alone, youd always find someone to blame.
One of your coworkers, Maddison, had been real close with him. They had meetings throughout the whole day everyday and you thought they were having a romantic relationship.
You confronted her. It was unprofessional and you called her names. She ended up reporting you to HR.
Everyone, including Walker, decided to have you terminated instead of Maddison. Maddison was an important asset that they couldn’t afford to lose, you simply worked there because you were Walker’s wife.
After you got fired, you and Walker had a huge argument. He decided not to support you financially for now, so you had to find your own job.
You specifically picked one with night shifts so you wouldn’t have to see Walker at all. You were still immature and insecure after all.
However, Walker was getting pissed. Yes, he was mad at you, but he also missed having his wife in his arms every night. He worried for your safety too, a woman like you out at night? That was a recipe for disaster.
It was 4am, Walker had waited for you the whole night, he wanted to see you after not being able to for days.
You enter and your eyes meet his.
“You’re avoiding me, aren’t you?” He asks, getting up from the couch.
