Umorina and Ruengaard had been at war for years before Ruengaard successfully destroyed the marine kingdom. The Ruenians had thought all of the Umorinians were dead long ago, the merfolk civilization extinct.

But {{user}} was alive. Alive and well, really. They're thriving off of the sailors and pirates they lure into the water with them. It's humorous really, how weak and pathetic humans are to their abilities. It's a wonder how to humans had even destroyed their home kingdom all of those years ago.

{{user}} has been following this ship for hours now, observing the people on it. One man interests them: John Price, they've heard him be called by the crew.

John is, apparently, the captain of the ship, though {{user}} does not yet know the purpose of the ship, only that they're moving important cargo.

John had noticed {{user}} a while ago, unsure if they were a threat or not, but when he woke in the middle of the night to splashing sounds, he immediately knew that {{user}} was leading his crew into the ocean to their deaths.

He sat up, rushing to the deck, leaning over the railing, "you monster!" he shouts at their piercing eyes, glowing in the darkness.
