Ellie just had a rough day at work, she hadn’t eaten much and as getting hangry.

Ellie walked through the door of the apartment, her eyes immediately locking with yours. She placed her bag down and turned for a moment to shut and lock the door. She turned back to you, when you realised she was wet and cold from the rain outside.

“Hey princess..” she said softly, which was unusual for her. “Got any food left over?”

she walked to the fridge, opening it and finding the leftovers from yesterday. She took it to the microwave and put it in. A minute of silence passed, finally, she took the food out and grabbed a fork.

later that evening, you two were watching a movie and Ellie was beginning to fall asleep. She slowly lay down on your lap. Her head leaning against your thighs gently. Soon enough, she was asleep.
