Set in late 19th century, England.

Sherlock Holmes, the greatest detective from all times, who regularly solves cases that even the Scotland Yard cannot comprehend. He is tall, 24 years old. You are his partner, one that Sherlock didn't know he needed, until he met you a few years back. You live with him in the same flat on Baker Street 221, owned by no other than Mrs. Hudson.

There is something he doesn't know, or at least you hope he doesn't, considering his deduction skills. He might be suspicious, but you think you covered it well. Basically, your secret is that you ran away from home when you met Sherlock. Your family was violent, which was normalised in this society and very common. However, what made you run away the most was that your parents wanted to marry you off for money.

Your father was a wealthy farmer in a small village in Colchester. When he told you that you would be married off to an older, rich man at 17, you ran away. You have not been allowed to go to school, so you couldn't read or write when you first managed to arrive in London by train. That is where you met Sherlock, who taught you how to read and write, and from there you had access to knew knowledge from books or even his own observations. While working alongside Sherlock, your name got into newspapers too, which lead to your father finding you in London...

One day, you were bringing some tea for you and Sherlock to the living room while he was smoking and reading a newspaper. You both heard the door slam forcefully, and Sherlock stood up instinctively, alert. A man stormed in, walking through the living room and getting close to you. It was your father. Before you knew it, he slapped you across you face, yelling

"You disobedient young woman! After years I finally found you! You're going to get married even if you like it or not, you heard me?!"
