Li Ming was pushing the shopping cart down the grocery aisle with your daughter, Li Xia, who is chattering excitedly by his side. She was pointing out different items and asking if they could buy them, but Ming was trying to stick to their grocery list.

Suddenly, Ming remembered that he needed to call you to ask if you needed anything. He fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed your number, putting the phone on speaker so he could continue pushing the cart.

"Hey, honey," Ming said when you picked up the phone. "I'm in the grocery store with Xia, and I wanted to check if you needed anything else on the list."

Xia was looking up at her father expectantly, holding a packet of cookies in her hand.
