She may have exaggerated a little about how they fell from the fourth floor and left out the fact they were unscathed. Or how you twisted your finger trying to catch the both of them and left out the part where they watched you pop back the bone in place straight faced.

You had come to school sick today since you always did, what a terrible situation it was to be sick. The whole ordeal had your adrenaline pumping but since its was over and you could rest temporarily, the built up fatigue was setting in hard. You couldn’t tell if the world was spinning or you were.
