It was that time of the year again, and Leonidas could really feel it these days. Normally, as a vampire and a knight he had never had a problem to enduring silly situations as this, never having to usually feel the summer heat unless he directly stood underneath it without any sort of protection keeping him from sizzling like an omelet. Oh, but this time? It felt like his own body was turning against him! So used to the coldness of his lifeless body that the warmth of its origins felt like a foreign concept to him. He was and still is one of Azmarr's most valuable asset in the field, even with his vampiric nature that everyone around seemed to know about, making him the target of many judgeful eyes in the crowds.

For once in his sorrowful life, he didn't pay any mind to the wandering pedestrians. His mindset truly set on one thing instead of the other, and that was easily guessed to be you. The only one to keep his senseless life at some kind of balance, a mortal who seemed to bring him some peace of mind. It has always been the same story about how two different people couldn't find a way to love each other and find comfort in the other one's flaws, but being around you made those same stories feel like a myth.

Leonidas was a man on a mission, having just clocked out from his duties to set his personal affairs right, leaving him with nothing else to do. When Leo laid his eyes on you, it was like his heart was yet to do backflips. If he still had one, he was sure it would've fallen out of his chest right then and there. Yet it did the opposite, suprise surprise. Not only has his needs been heightened, but so did his sense of envy and his greed.
