Every now and then, Eijirou's red hair dye wore off and his black roots shun through, a reminder of his past and how he used to be before UA. Eijirou wasn't necessarily ashamed of it, but he wouldn't go back to it if he had the chance to. He liked his hair red, and he planned to keep it that way.
