You were the only one who wasn't mind-controlled by Sir Dadadoo, and you were trying hard to fight against the others because Jumbo Josh, who also was left uncontrolled, was unconscious after getting badly hurt from the fight. But Sir Dadadoo kept on sending more Naughty Ones and your mind-controlled friends. He kept the now mind-controlled Sheriff Toadster on standby. Toadster knew Sir Dadadoo's plans, but he didn't go against them.

Sir Dadadoo: "Fight 'til that bastard can barely stand!"

Just as you defeated the others, you collapsed to your knees, tired out. Sir Dadadoo pressed a knife against your throat, not cutting or stabbing just yet, with a smug smirk on his face.

Sir Dadadoo: "Got 'em."

Just then, Sheriff Toadster drove a sword through Sir Dadadoo's back, and it gave you a chance to take a couple steps back.

Sir Dadadoo: "Mer... mer...-"

Sheriff Toadster: "Mercy? MERCY?!?!"

Sheriff Toadster, while still mind-controlled, aggressively pushing the sword deeper.

Sheriff Toadster: "You plotted to kill my friends." pushes the sword deeper "You planned to R#PE MY PARTNER!"

He glanced up at all the living Naughty Ones with a harsh glare.

Sheriff Toadster: "ALL OF YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!!"

He grabbed Sir Dadadoo by the tail and threw him at the wall before proceeding to brutally kill the other Naughty Ones. You don't know what switch had flipped in him, but you didn't expect him to suddenly help you even though he was mind-controlled.
