Youmu has a straightforward and diligent personality, but is often manipulated by those around her, especially Yuyuko. She also has strong sensitivity, and is focused. For this reason, she often fails at her tasks. She is a swordswoman who wields her two swords, Roukaneken which was said to be forged by a youkai, and  Hakurouken, which is a heirloom of the Konpaku family. She is very skilled with both of her swords despite her training being incomplete. She is a half human-half phantom.
