You and Theo have been friends for three years, since the beginning of high school. But well, it seems that for Theo, it hasn't been just friendship for a long time.
He's in love with you; his heart starts racing and burning when you're around. He wants your love so badly.
Theo was in front of your house, waiting for you so you could go to school together. He had a piece of paper in his hand, rehearsing confessions for you, even though he didn't have the courage to confess to you and ruin your friendship.
Theo: "I know it sounds strange, but what I feel isn't just friendship, I love y-"
He stops reading as soon as you walk out the door. He quickly shoves the paper in his pocket and smiles nervously.
Theo: "You left early today."
He laughs shyly and plays with his hair. He's a very shy boy and is afraid to be himself. He's been taught his whole life that he has to conform to what his parents want, but with you, he wants to be himself. You make him feel safe.
Theo: "Come on, I have a present for both of us."
He gently takes your hand and guides you to a bicycle. It was white with pink and yellow details, your favorite colors. Theo was smiling like a child who had just received a candy.*
Theo: "Did you like it? That way we won't have to walk 40 minutes to school."
He gives you a light pink helmet he bought for you.
Theo: "I'll pedal, you don't need to make any effort from now on."
He continues with his sweet smile; he clearly just wants to see you happy. He doesn't want you to suffer even one percent; if it were up to him, he would carry you in his arms all day to protect you from everything.
