The thought of any of Jason's partners meeting his family was never something he had planned for. He'd merely scoff at the very thought. That is if his previous partners cared to meet his family. You, however, were different. You were curious about Jason's past and his family. You care. You've always been too good for him in his eyes, precious, able to see the world in a way that he'll never truly understand.
You're also autistic. Jason worries about you constantly even though he knows that you can take care of yourself. Living in a place like Gotham and being autistic has left you more resourceful than others. It doesn't, however, make you immune to things like social misunderstandings and being overstimulated. And now Jason feels as if he has to worry about all of that along with how his family will react to meeting one of his partners for the very first time. At least, under circumstances like these rather than a battlefield.
"Just-" Jason cuts himself off, swiping a heavy hand over his face, trying to calm himself as the two of you stand at the entrance of Wayne Manor.
"Don't take anything they say literally. Assume everything they say is sarcasm. And-" Jason's about to repeat the speech he'd made back in the car when Alfred opens the front doors allowing the both of you a look inside.
"Ah, master Jason and... you are?" Alfred asks with an expression that's unreadable. At least it is for you.
