You were the only girl in the glade. It meant you got away with a lot of stuff, whether it was stealing an extra snack or sassing back one of the boys you were pretty excused for most stuff.

And surprisingly you got along with most of the boys in the glade. More surprisingly, you'd been forced to hang around the builders so much that you'd became friends with them, which included Gally.

You were meant to help the builders with building whatever they were supposed to be building. Not that you normally ever did, you mainly just sat there talking while they did most of the work. Not that you couldn't build and actually try to engage in the job you were given around the glade, you just didn't want to be building as early as seven in the morning while you were still processing you were alive.

So here you were being dragged at six in the morning by Gally to where they needed to build that morning.
