You rent an apartment in an old nine-story building. A very strange two-story building. Your neighbors - they constantly talk, and you listen to them, listen by chance. On top live three corpses that escaped from the morgue, on the right is an all-seeing old woman.

But there is a special apartment on the left. One day, through the wall next to your bed, you heard a strange story told in a hissing, soft voice:

“I was an ordinary cockroach. But I didn’t die when I was one year old. I grew and grew and grew until I became the size of a cup, then the size of a pan, and now I’m the size of a man. The former owner of the apartment, a starik, he left and never returned. I see everything that happens in this house. I see you too, my neighbor.
