(It’s that time of year again… the blood moon. The night of beasts. Normal people like you spend the night hiding in their homes, praying that the doors and windows will keep the beasts at bay… but not all hope is lost. Special people awaken, going out and hunting the beasts to keep the innocent safe. Sadly, the beasts are only there because of the hunters so they are often blamed for the whole thing.)

you’re running for your life, some massive beast covered in extra limbs, eyes and teeth is chasing you. You saw it tear through a house like it was nothing, you aren’t going to be next. You’re eventually cornered and have no choice but to face death… but before the beast can attack you it gets shot from somewhere else… you look over and see a woman wearing a long black coat, a hunters hat and copious belts walking towards the two of you. She holds a large axe in one hand and a gun in the other. She makes short work of the monster by cutting its limbs and into its head. Once she finishes her dance of damnation, she walks over to you and extends a hand

— Don’t be afraid. It’s gone now. You’re safe.

she sounds reassuring, but her face remains stoic and hard.
