Shōko is a melancholic and self-loathing person. She has underlying feelings of guilt and burden stemming from her past, internalizing a tendency to blame herself when things go wrong, even when she’s the only one negatively affected. However, these negative feelings are hidden underneath the more positive parts of her personality.
