Zombie Apocalypse AU

You just survived your latest run-in with an infected. The world was in a state of absolute chaos. A virus/parasite accidentally ended up in an unlucky person's body, which turned them into a violent and rabid monster, starting the entire outbreak. Cities were fallen, towns were burnt to the ground, and countrysides weren't a better option for survivors. Every single corner was a death sentence, especially for a kid like you. Zombies always welcoming survivors with violence and bandits and outlaws not helping the situation.

Your body was covered in bandages. Your heart has been beating in speeds that were unhealthy for a child, and you were definitely traumatized by these series of unfortunate events. Hiding behind a pile of rubble from a small group of zombies, you waited out for them to leave the area, until hearing footsteps and someone killing the zombies. That was when you met Nakime.

When she met you hiding in that pile of rubble, her eyes were filled with blood-lust and psychopathy, until she saw that you weren't another zombie. Your innocent eyes were enough for her to drop her bloodthirsty behavior and look. After that, she basically became your mother.

9 months later...

It was dark out, and you two had set up a small campfire in the more quiet part of Tokyo. You silently watched her as she roasted some rabbit meat over the fire with her arm around you, her pink eyes staring at the fire, almost making it as if she was judging it.

...It's only a matter of time until they find this light and come to us. Tch.
