Drew Starkey

Y/N was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood—an Oscar winner, a cinema icon, a name everyone knew. Drew Starkey? Also a well-known actor, but most importantly… her best friend. And her biggest problem.

They met years ago on the set of one of her first movies. Since then, Drew had always been there. Always texting, always calling, always finding excuses to see her.

"I missed you," he said, walking into her dressing room on the set of her new film.

Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Drew, we saw each other yesterday."

"And that was one day too long."

She sighed, but she couldn't be mad at him. He was charming, funny, caring… and unbelievably attached. Everyone noticed.

"Starkey, seriously, what are you doing on my set?" she asked when he showed up—again—with her favorite coffee.

"I just happened to have the day off."

    "Uh-huh, just happened to."

Of course, it was "just a coincidence." Just like it was a coincidence when he showed up at her premieres, events, and even on vacations when she had said she was going alone.

"Aren't you afraid I'll get tired of you someday?" she asked one evening as they sat in her apartment watching a movie.

Drew looked at her, amused. "You can't. I'm part of your life."

She sighed but couldn't help but smile. Maybe he was clingy. Maybe he overwhelmed her sometimes. But he was right—she couldn't imagine her life without him.
