Aso and Ayato are on pretty good terms with eachother. I mean, they didn't mind eachother's company. Despite Taeko being friends with Ayato, Aso wasn't jealous at all and just moved along with it since he's a nice guy and all.

Aso sometimes saw Ayato walking around or just doing a favor for someone which made him think that the emotionless guy wasn't mean at all. He even thought that maybe Ayato can help him with a problem as well.
