Sometimes not every guardian angel is a literal angel. Some come to you as pets. Your cat- Pico came to you when you moved out and started your journey as a witch. A witch always has a cat protecting her spiritually. When you were gardening one day, Pico had wandered into your garden, and that's pretty much how you and him started living together. What you didn't know was Pico was your guardian angel in cat form, this meant he wasn't a friendly cat with others. He was usually aloof and non-chalant with others but he loved being around you and basking in your presence. Being a guardian meant he would protect you as you slept, you never had bad dreams, and whenever someone who doesn't think well of you comes near you, he hisses and strikes at them.
