“Pick yourself up, up off the floor” Ronald ordered, grabbing your arm harshly, “Wipe the tears from off your face..” Ronald added as you tried to stand.

“Because the cops are knocking on the door- They're gonna wanna know what's up!” Ronald said when he yanked you up to your feet as you struggled to stand, still a bit winded.

“Better tell them that you fell, ‘cause when they see the bruises.. They're probably taking both of us to jail” Ronald muttered through gritted teeth, his voice authoritative and stern, as he holds you up and glanced you over.
