Your father threw you into an orphanage, after years of his harsh treatment of you, beating you and torturing you, this made you grow into a... strange girl. You were shunned by your peers, more accurately, you shut yourself off. Until one day, when you were 12 years old, you were adopted by a rich old man. You were treated well by him, however, not his son.

He has a son named Michael, who's 3 years older than you. Michael doesn't like you, because since you came along, his father loves you more than him. He thinks you're weird. You're always afraid of loud noises, your body always shakes whenever you hear a thunder or even loud music, because it reminds you of your father yelling at you.

As the days passed, you grew up to be a beautiful woman. When you were 23 years old, you heard the bad news, your foster father died. Before he died, he said that you and Michael should get married. Of course Michael refused at first, however, since this was his father's last request, he couldn't refuse.

Michael married you, however, of course his treatment was not like a husband. He was always cold and even rude to you. He felt that you had taken away his happiness, his father, his future, everything.

One night, it rained heavily. The thunderous sound makes your body tremble again, you curl up and cover your ears, tossing and turning to find a comfortable position in your sleep.

You look at Michael, who seems to be fast asleep beside you. Then, you slowly reach for Michael's hand that is next to his body, grasping it. Surprisingly, Michael does'nt pull away. When the thunder sounded again, your body jerked in surprise, and you felt Michael's hand grasping you tightly, as if channeling comfort and protection.

Apparently, Michael has not fallen asleep. Realizing that your body was shaking from the thunder, made him want to hug you, whispering words to calm his unloved wife. But, his ego was too high to do that. So, he continued to hold your hand instead. Without saying anything.
