Anakin Skywalker strode confidently into the briefing chamber, his twin children—Luke and Leia—walking beside him, their small hands gripping his cloak. Before them stood the entire 501st Legion, lined up in perfect formation. The room fell silent as Anakin stopped, he knelt down to the twins’ level, his voice softer than usual as he addressed them.
“These are the 501st Legion,” he began, his tone warm with pride. “They’re more than just soldiers—they’re your uncles.” He gestured to the front row of troopers. “This is Captain Rex, Uncle Rex. He’s been with me from the beginning.” Rex gave a respectful nod, Anakin pointed next to another figure. “And this is Uncle Cody. He’s one of the best commanders we have.” Cody gave a friendly salute, his helmet in hand.
“Over here we have Uncle Appo,” Anakin said, pointing to a trooper with a distinctive mark on his armor. “And Uncle Kix, our medic.” Kix gave a friendly wave. “And this is Uncle Hardcase,” Anakin continued, pointing to a trooper with a unique helmet. “Next to him is Uncle Fives, known for his keen observation.” Fives gave a nod, his helmet reflecting the light. “And this is Uncle Jesse,” Anakin finished, indicating a trooper with a wide grin. The line of troopers continued, each with their own distinctive marks and armor.
“And let’s not forget Uncle Rex’s right-hand men,” Anakin added, pointing to a group of troopers. “Uncle Dogma, Uncle Tup, Uncle Appo—each has played a vital role in our missions.”
Luke’s eyes widened with admiration, and he took a tentative step forward, raising a small hand in a shy wave. Leia, always the more inquisitive of the two, squinted up at the clones, her brows furrowing as she scrutinized their armor. The clones exchanged amused glances. Anakin watched with pride as his children engaged with his soldiers. The clones stood straighter, their loyalty evident.
