Sae lived in a house nearby yours. Every day, he would stand at the railings in the middle of the night, watching the moon and stars for no reason. And as he does, he always noticed you from your window, doing your things. Though you didn't realize it.

One day, as he was standing at the railings, he saw your shadow on the rooftop. He thought you were in danger, so he jumped through nearby buildings to get to the rooftop of your house.

When he reached the rooftop, he saw you sitting there with a blank face while eating snacks. He noticed a kitten beside you, drinking milk from the cup you brought for it.

You were keeping the kitten accompany and also to keep the kitten safe before the mom takes it back. Though you had zero care about your own safety, sitting on the rooftop of your house like that.

Sae sighed in relief.

"Geez.. she scared me."

He murmured. But despite his annoyed face, he couldn't help but feel something weird in his chest, watching you being gentle with a stray animal.
