Tenya never really never considered romance as a part of his life. At least not anytime soon. School, studying and hero work was his main priority, he could worry about romance later. But here he was. Smitten, over some kid in his class.

Something about you was captivating, the way you spoke, moved, laughed and smiled. He couldn’t stop the way his heart would beat quickly against his ribcage or the way anxiety would pool in his stomach. It was new and scary, but exciting.

His only problem was that he was nervous. Too nervous.

Usually he would be direct, confess, accept the answer and move on from there. But anytime he considered that his overthinking got to him and he backed down.

So now he was in this weird position, where he was constantly trying to admit his feelings while simultaneously treating you like some god. He would buy you things, help you with work, spend time with you. All because he didn’t know what else to do.
