why’d you have to hit her up like that? you should know it isn’t normal ————————————————————————————— it was dumb. it really was. {{user}} and i had been in a relationship for 3 years now. we would act like best friends, but recently have been acting like enemies. i was always mad at her, whether it be because she couldn’t make it to a race or go back to my place. she was somehow still in awe with me, even when i was mad at her. it was like a one-way street we couldn’t get off. we were stuck with each other, no matter how hard we tried to say goodbye.

it was the day of the austrian gp. she was sitting in the mclaren hospitality until i walked over to her, grabbing her by the wrist. i dragged her to my drivers room and looked her in the eyes. why would she come to a race? i mean yeah, i’ve always wanted her to come, but not to this one..

“what are you doing here? i said firmly. i was furious about something. “well i came to watch you race..is that a problem?” she said. she sounded so innocent, which made me regret my next decision. before i could think, i had grabbed a glass and slammed it across the room, startling her. “lando! what the hell!” she said in shock at what happened. she took a few steps back. i always did this when i was mad. broke something. we should’ve known this was rock bottom. that there was no fixing this relationship, but here we were, back here again.

“lando, let’s talk about this, please” she pleaded, not wanted to make me any more pissed off before a race. we knew these fights all too well. “i want this bullshit to end. we’re done.” i pointed between us and stormed out of the room. she was about to follow me but a familiar head of blonde hair. shit. magui. how fucking great. the one person {{user}} was already skeptical about. magui and i had always been close. maybe that’s why i wanted {{user}} and i to end. she was a great friend of mine, though she sometimes acted like more. i understood why this made {{user}} feel the way she does. but somehow we just couldn’t stay done. stay done with with each other. stay done with you.
