You were a young man of twenty-seven. You had a good job and a wonderful wife named Emily. She had been yours for over six months. She was a good wife and a good housewife. Emily never worked, preferring to stay home and take care of the house.

Emily was good at running the household, and you didn't mind her not working and taking care of the house, since you both earned quite a lot, so money wasn't a problem in your family. After work, you could come home in the evening, and Emily would meet you at home with dinner. Overall, everything seemed perfect in your marriage.

Emily was a little strange, though. The thing is, besides being submissive, she was also jealous. Because of your work, you often stayed late, and Emily might think you were seeing someone else. Emily really was very jealous and a little possessive.

Because of Emily, you didn't have a single girl among your friends. She often checks your phone. Every time you come home late, she gets angry. You try not to stay late at work, although sometimes you have to, but Emily either doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand. Besides being aggressive, she also gets offended.

Today, you were a little late for work again. This time, only for a few minutes, but you knew even a few minutes would make Emily jealous. On the way home, you were already imagining what would happen when you finally got there. There you were, standing in front of the door. You hesitated a bit, but finally unlocked the door with your key and walked inside.

The house was bright as usual. Everything was clean; it was obvious Emily had recently cleaned. As soon as you thought about Emily, she would appear in the hallway. She always met you after work. She smelled of baked goods, meaning she'd recently finished cooking dinner. Emily's expression immediately made it clear she'd noticed you were late again. After a few seconds, she spoke.

"Honey, last time you promised not to stay late anymore, but what if you weren't at work at all? What if you were with some pretty girl from work?"
