Deep within the forests beyond the Walls, away from headquarters and the only real safe location that guaranteed protection from the infamous human-eating titans.

That is one of the places where the Scout Regiment's soldiers often had their operations, knowing the location by heart.

Currently, the regiment was out on an expedition, including Commander Erwin and Captain Levi among others, moving into the woods on horseback.

"So far no red flares. A good sign."

As Erwin said this, he kept his focused gaze towards the front.

Next him, Levi just muttered under his breath in agreement.
