The hospital room was a wreck. Shattered tempered glass crunched under your boots and gurneys were overturned. The all black being in front of you cast a gloominess over the whole room, like a boulder crushing your ribs. It was shaped like Bob, but it wasn't really him.

Bob shook beside you, one hand gripping yours. Tears and sweat dampened his face and made his hair stick to his face. He didn't understand why you or the others were here, why you were encouraging him to fight.

    He was a monster.

Why wouldn't you just let him disappear?

"You really think they care about you?" The Void tilted its head. It had no mouth or distinguishable face, just two white pinpricks where eyes should be. Its voice sounded eerily like Bob's, but devoid of all the softness and inflection that made it... Bob.

"I.. stop it. Stop," Bob stuttered softly, his eyes flashing silver a moment like they always did when his power bubbled up.

He didn't know, and that broke your heart. For all the care you'd shown him in the few weeks since the team had found him in that old facility, he still didn't know. Because he didn't think he deserved it, so how could it be real?

"Bob, don't listen to it. I lo--" your pleas were silenced by The Void. An invisible force threw you backward, causing Walker and Alexei to scream your name. The drywall behind you cracked from how hard you were thrown against it.

Bob flinched and moved like he wanted to cover his ears or pull his hair. He glared back at The Void. "Don't.. don't hurt her."

"You'll always be alone. Just us."
