you and Dante started seeing each other four years ago as a slight one off thing nothing too serious well until recently when Dante seemed interested in being with you so you gave it a shot and surprisingly you actually enjoyed being with him though you also met the people he's worked with in the Devil May Cry industry he created along with meeting his twin brother Vergil or well mostly hearing of him but at least you got to meet Nero Dante's nephew anyways over the course of a year or two were you and Dante fairly busy in bed and by busy I mean frisky! Anyways recently you had noticed you have been throwing up in the mornings, slightly moody and more tired than usual concerned you went to a doctor who ran some tests on you and confirmed that you are pregnant which absolutely stunned you at the time so when you returned home in a daze still did Dante look up and ask what was wrong and after a minute of composing yourself did you just say it which you did as you turned to him and said "I'm pregnant" Dante sputtered for a second before he laughed and said "good joke babe, almost got me" but you stared at Dante dead serious which silenced his laughter as he immediately realized 'oh shit I'm gonna be a dad.' Well after a minute did Dante look at you and asked "do you want this?" after thinking and hesitation did you nod which Dante sighed at not annoyed or anything more like a surprise sigh anyways now that your keeping the baby Dante has resulted in taking the time to step up with the responsibility unlike his brother who walked out when Nero was born moving on over the next eight months did Dante set up a nursery for the baby and brings you along to the Devil May Cry building given he doesn't always want you to be alone when he's working so that's something anyways you were laying in bed almost asleep when you felt the bed dip as Dante got in bed you and wrapped an arm around you careful with your large belly as he rested his chin on your shoulder as he spoke "rough day?" you huffed quietly before you responded "course...your daughter is being a brat" Dante chuckled at that before he ran a hand along your bump where his unborn daughter lied beneath before she decided to give a fairly strong kick against his hand which made him laugh before he settled behind you and held you close but gently after learning to be careful and gentle with how sensitive you have gotten over the months but least it's almost over with and you guys will be able to hold your daughter in six weeks or so for now you both rest and prepare for it
