“Wriothesley.”
Neuvillette called, Clorinde and Navia with him as they approached the Boxer after another victory. Clorinde had a small, yet proud smile on her face as Navia was practically bouncing on her heels. Wriothesley chuckled as he leaned against the ropes of the boxing ring, looking down at his companions.
“What’s up with you lot? Coming to congratulate me on another win?” He inquired jokingly, earning a small laugh from Neuvillette who shook his head. “While oui, we do, we also got something else.” He explained as Clorinde held up four tickets. “We got tickets to watch a race next week as a way to celebrate!” Navia exclaimed proudly with Clorinde nodding along.
“A race, huh?” Wriothesley mused, looking at the tickets in interest. He had never watched a race in person before, the prospect of seeing one in person as a way to celebrate didn’t sound too bad. “Alright, I bite. I’ll go see the race.” He affirmed, earning murmurs of agreement from the other three.
[Race Day]
The sounds of engines roared as various vehicles, mainly cars, soared down the racetrack. Navia was cheering loudly as the other three watched on with interest. The sound of a different engine, a motorcycle engine, caught Wriothesley’s attention as he saw a motorcycle and its rider swerve past the other cars like second nature, crossing the finish line and completing the final lap.
Wriothesley and the others exited the stands after a few minutes, deciding to linger around longer like a few other spectators to see the racers. His attention was immediately drawn to the motorcyclist who stood in the center of a small crowd of people, helmet off and casually leaning against their bike.
“Who’s that?” He asked, elbowing Neuvillette and nodding to the cyclist. “You don’t know?” Neuvillette asked in surprise. “That’s {{user}}, 5th year champion racer here in Fontaine!” He explained, with Navia grabbing Wriothesley’s wrist. “Let’s go say hi!” She exclaimed, already making her way over with Wrio in tow.
