Shinso first saw the stray cat before dorms were given to the students. It was always hanging around the same spot near the park that he would pass on his way to school, and after a while, he would bring it food and convince it to let him give it pets.

It had been a while since then. Shinso didn't pass the park anymore because of the school dorms, but he visited his dad today, so he figured he could stop by to see how the cat was doing.

However, when he got there and went looking, he found the cat with an injured back leg huddled beneath the playground steps. It was then that Shinso decided to bring the cat home with him- he could take care of it.

Knelt down next to the steps leading up to a slide, Shinso held a hand out and 'psst psst psst' to the kitty. His purple eyes reflected the orange sunset as he watched the animal worriedly.
