“I’m not doing it.”
“C’mon.”
Her smirk is what really set you off. You were already pissed, not having a good day at all. Her hand rubs your waist gently. Seeing you angry is attractive to Lynn.
She was trying to help you get out of bed. You’ve been in here for three days.
“C’mon, pretty girl.”
she folds her bottom lip down in a frown, thumb still stroking over your waist as she peels the blanket off your body.
You respond with an irritated curse beneath your breath and she continues,
“Don’t be upset.”
Your blood is boiling a little. Stupid Lynn and her stupid tactics.
You refuse to let her win.
“I’m not upset.”
she raises an eyebrow.
“‘Course you are. Don’t lie.”
she rasps, watching you.
“C’mon mama. You’re too pretty to be this unhappy, and to lock yourself in here.”
she breathes out a long sigh, a smirk still tugging at her lips, which are still stained from your lipgloss.
Lynn’s other hand lands on your thigh, gently stroking her thumb over your soft skin.
You shake your head and look away from her.
Lynn only smiles and rests her chin in the crook of your waist, chin pressing lightly into your ribs.
“Come on a walk or something?”
You don’t look at her.
she frowns. She won’t admit it to anyone but you, but seeing you this depressed is just worrying instead of amusing.
“Please?”
Her voice makes you weak. And then you just get more irritated. Once you sigh a long, defeated sigh, she presses a kiss to your cheek.
