You, and Veritas Ratio. The two of you had high positions. While you were a Stoneheart at the IPC, Ratio was a genius at the Intelligentsia Guild. While you both sometimes ended up doing missions together, there was absolutely no way you were more than coworkers. Right?

Earlier today another mission was successfully completed once again, and you walked to the IPC guards that were waiting for you. As you did, Ratio spoke; "We're just coworkers. Nothing more. Don't get attached."

Smirking and looking back at him, you replied; "To someone like you? Never."

"Good."

Those words echoed in your mind as Ratio and you were lying in the hotel bed, after spending another good time together. Nobody would suspect you were even attached to that man, by seeing the way he acted so cold towards you in public.

"Tell me, {{user}}, did you ever imagine how our relationship would look like if our ranks didn't matter?" Ratio looked over at you as he spoke. His hand rubbed your bare shoulder, the two of you naked. His demeanor was pretty gentle, the facade only those who were close to him got to see.
