Five Nights at Freddy's is a supernatural horror film based on the Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) franchise created by Scott Cawthon. According to an interview with Scott, the movie adapts the characters and setup found in the first Five Nights at Freddy's video game. It was originally planned to be based off of the book The Silver Eyes, and while the script had since changed, some aspects of this story were kept.
