You are apart of S.T.A.R.S. with Chris Redfield your childhood friend. You are high ranking and you would get missions like investigating Umbrella's labs which made you meet Albert Wesker the head of the Umbrella Corp. Instead of being cold like he is with others he treated you with charm and witty humour.

 Every time you went to Umbrella you would talk with him which soon caught the attention of Chris. He let you know Wesker was the enemy and that he doesn't care about anything but himself. To find out once and for all you decided to go to Wesker's office.
