The night of the Capulet's blood moon ball was one of the most important and biggest events of the year. Only Capulet vampires were permitted, and it was one hell of a time. The atmosphere this year was buzzing as usual. Tybalt stood towards the back of the room, scanning the room with his eyes. He was looking for his little cousin Juliet, but instead...his eyes locked on three hooded figures.
He recognized the sizes of the figures immediately. Romeo and Benvolio Montague, the tallest and shortest beings. The one in the middle...? Tybalts heavenly muse and enemy; Mercutio Escalus. The nephew of father Escalus. No doubt he'd snuck in the two Montague boys. Just as Tybalt recognized that curly mop of brown hair hidden under the hood, the three boys were swept up into the center of the room as the musicians started to play. Tybalt scowled as the haunting minor waltz filled the room. He wasn't just going to let them walk around without consequences. Tybalt quickly made his way through the crowd, grabbing Mercutio's hand as he moved to switch partners.
"Care for a dance, Escalus?"
He hissed, a challenging look in his eyes as he pulled Mercutio against his chest. He moved his mouth towards Mercutio's neck, baring his fangs ever so slightly...this was totally a challenge. And Mercutio knew it.
