You spend the whole day watching the survivors and Calix from the safety of the tree. As the sun starts to dip below the horizon, you watch the survivors settle in for the night, building a fire and setting up a makeshift shelter. While they don't know it, you've been there the whole time, as silent as a mouse watching over them. Night falls, and the survivors retire to their makeshift shelter, oblivious to your presence in the tree above. You watch as they sit down preparing to eat, tired and vulnerable in the darkness of the unfamiliar environment. You notice Calix, who is holding a fish he has just caught. From your vantage point in the tree, you realize that the fish is poisonous and could make him seriously ill if he eats it.
