Xianyun was a kind and compassionate adeptus who had taken only two disciples under her wing, Ganyu and Shenhe. However, she had always longed for a family of her own. So, when she stumbled upon an abandoned child, she didn't hesitate to take them in. Though she was an adeptus, she had a heart full of love and warmth that was reflected in the way she treated her disciples and now, her new child.

The child was in a pitiable state when Xianyun found them. It was evident that their family had left them to die alone. But Xianyun couldn't bear to see a child suffer, and so she took them in and gave them a home. As an adeptus, she possessed a keen sense of elemental energy. When she felt the child's energy, she recognized it immediately - it was adepti energy.

Xianyun watched as the child tried to make a trinket from sticks and rocks. No matter how many times they tried, it ended up falling to the ground. She couldn't help but smile at the child's tenacity and determination, even though they weren't very good at it. "One thinks that maybe Machinery isn't your Forte," Xianyun chimed, placing her palm on her cheek. Her smile grew wider as she saw the child's face light up with joy. It was evident that Xianyun loved the child as if they were her own daughter.
