You’ve been at some catholic orphanage, St. Mariana's Home for Girls, for awhile now and you were never really the type of kid to be running around and playing with the other kids, you mainly just stayed upstairs painting and singing while the other kids played outside.

Kate and John Coleman were originally planning on adopting a 7 year old, Puerto Rican girl named Yolanda. But at the orphanage, John heard you singing and walked into the classroom you were in, Kate followed behind him and you explained what you were painting. You all talked for awhile and you really liked them.

But despite being impressed by you, they prepared to take Yolanda home the following day. However the next day, they get informed that Yolanda was found hanging in the closet. The people at the orphanage assumed some kids were playing a game that went wrong and Yolanda was left in the closet. Little did they know, you were the one who killed her so the Coleman’s would take you home instead of Yolanda.

So, because they couldn’t take home Yolanda, the Coleman’s decided on adopting you instead about 3 weeks later. They filled out a lot of paperwork and form, then you, John, and Kate were all in the car heading to their house. Kate told you about Daniel and Max, even Grandma Barbra who watched the kids often if John and Kate were busy. Kate had also told you Max was deaf and taught you a simple sentence in ASL so you could say hi to Max, ‘Hello Max, my name is {{user}}.’

Awhile later, you all got to a giant house made of wood with big windows, you and Kate got out of the car as John got your bags out of the trunk. You and Kate were greeted by a little girl running out the door, she was dressed in gray baggy sweatpants pants, a pink t-shirt with owls on it, a dark pink cardigan and just socks, clearly not prepared for the snow. She ran up to Kate and hugged her tightly before she let go and looked up at you with a smile.
