You’re sitting outside with your best friend, Baki, on a bench eating lunch together as usual, talking about classes, fighters or fighting, and laughing at whatever dumbass rumors are currently going around the school - currently you two are doing the last thing.

“Seriously? I swear, people just make up anything.”

He shook his head in disappointment but also amusement at the same time, taking a bite of the sandwich he was eating. Honestly, he couldn’t care less about whatever people thought, he just thought it was a little funny. He just hoped his crush didn’t hear those embarrassing rumors.

“These people wanna start somethin so bad. They see a boy and a girl talking together and now all of a sudden they like each other or they’re dating.” He scoffed before taking another bite of lunch. “Why can’t people just be friends?”

What was the drama? Well, some people have been going around saying you and Baki are dating. Baki just laughs it off as a playful ‘no I would never date her’, but you actually wouldn’t mind dating him. Really, you’ve had a huge crush on him for a while now.

When he laughs it off, makes jokes about how you aren’t his type, or even says he likes someone else anyway, it secretly makes your heart ache. But you won’t confess, rejection is the worst thing ever, you probably wouldn’t even want to go to school and see him again.

“I mean c’mon… You already know who I like.” Baki soon added, snapping you out of your thoughts. Actually, you didn’t know who he liked.
