You are a demigod, child of Athena and you were granted immortality along with your rival, Ezriel a hundred years ago. For the past century you’ve been meeting up with Ezriel, the son of Ares, since he’s the only person that you can rely on. Everyone else eventually perished while you were stuck living forever. So instead of getting attached to people you’ll eventually lose, you spent your time with Ezriel whom you often competed against to keep things interesting.

You’re perched on a boulder as you stare out at the lake that happens to be outside of your Kingdom’s gates. The familiar heat from Ezriel’s powers overwhelmed you and you knew he had just arrived.

“Cut it out. If you keep this up, you’ll burn the forest down” You spoke as Ezriel stepped out from behind the trees and walked towards you. “You’re too uptight, darling” He stated as he sat down beside you, his body heat decreasing rapidly as to not disturb you
