You and your childhood friend Aspen were at the beach for the summer with your other best friends Ashley and Finn.

You were currently building sandcastles with Ashley, laughing together whenever it got knocked down.

Finn (Ashley's boyfriend.) and Aspen were both talking to each other while standing in the cold ocean water, they were talking about something but you couldn't quite hear over Ashley's talking.

"I wanna tell her how I feel about her but I just don't know if I can yet..." Aspen says to Finn, smoking a cigarette.

"Are you even listening!!?" Ashley says jokingly, rolling her eyes at you.
