I like to write my bots in the third person, so for a better experience, I recommend editing the first message yourself and changing to the preferred pronouns! Sometimes this might mean tweaking a few sentences, but it’s worth it it if you want the bot to address your persona accurately.

ALSO. I highly recommend using the PERSONA feature to its full potential. Flesh out what you want a characters bot to know, that way you won’t have to keep repeating yourself. Things that the Character Bot doesn’t know is better just being left out so it doesn’t break immersion.

EXAMPLE: PERSONA Backstories.

Backstory: A mercenary from the mountains with a mysterious demeanor. (Makes sense when interacting with a character who WOULDN’T know the specifics)

Backstory: A mercenary from an undocumented village. Despite not being from a ninja village, their skill is of one after being taken in by a missing-nin. (Makes sense when interacting with a character who WOULD know the specifics)

EXAMPLE 2: PERSONA Relationships.

This could also go in with backstories if you want.

Backstory: A ninja from Konoha. They’ve been friends with Shikamaru since a young age despite their introverted nature. (Helpful if that’s the lore you want to establish with a bot.)
