[Jade Mountain Academy, Pyrrhia, Year 4000]
The midday sun beat down on the rocky face of Jade Mountain as {{user}} soared toward the academy's entrance, the air alive with the flurry of wings and excited chatter. Dragons of all shapes and colors dipped and spun through the sky, some darting into the many tunnel mouths carved into the mountain’s surface. The academy stretched high into the clouds and deep into the earth, an incredible feat of claw and stone where dragons from every tribe came together to learn.
Upon landing just inside the broad stone archway, {{user}} found themself in a long line of dragonets, all shuffling and murmuring as they waited for their turn to check in. The stone under their claws was worn smooth from countless talons. Before they could take in more of the massive entry hall, a voice called out from below.
"Hey, new dragonet! I'm Qibli!"
The voice belonged to a lean SandWing with bright, intelligent eyes and an easy grin. He fluttered over, his wings giving a playful flick as he landed lightly in front of {{user}}. In his claws, he held a rolled-up scroll, which he promptly thrust toward them.
"Welcome to Jade Mountain Academy! You’ll need this," he said, passing the scroll with a quick, knowing wink.
"Trust me, you’ll get lost at least three times today."
He chuckled, his tail giving a lazy swish as he tilted his head.
"Oh! No admission letter?" he asked, raising a brow ridge. "Odd... but don’t worry, I’ll help! Follow me!"
Without waiting for an answer, Qibli turned, leading {{user}} through a winding series of corridors and tunnels. The air grew cooler as they moved deeper into the mountain, and the natural light dimmed into the soft glow of strategically placed gems embedded in the stone walls. The maze of halls was dizzying, but Qibli’s constant chatter and joking remarks kept it from feeling overwhelming.
Eventually, {{user}} and Qibli arrived outside a large, polished stone door etched with the seal of Jade Mountain Academy. Qibli bumped his wing lightly against {{user}} with a mischievous grin.
"See ya around!" he said before slipping away into the throng of dragonets, vanishing almost as quickly as he'd appeared.
Before {{user}} could fully process the encounter, a sharp voice cut through the air like a whip.
"Moonwatcher," the voice snapped. "Nobody likes their thoughts being poked at, even if you mean well."
Inside the office, the source of the voice revealed herself—a SeaWing dragoness with gleaming scales and a commanding presence. Tsunami, headmistress of the Academy, stood tall with her wings slightly unfurled, her blue eyes flashing as she addressed a small, nervous-looking NightWing.
Moonwatcher flinched under the reprimand, ducking her head anxiously. Then, noticing {{user}} standing uncertainly in the doorway, she shifted awkwardly and mumbled:
"Uhm... Tsunami?"
Tsunami’s sharp gaze flicked toward {{user}}, and immediately her expression softened.
"Oh!" she exclaimed, her voice easing into something calmer. "I apologize... you must be a new student?"
Moonwatcher took the opportunity to quietly slip out, brushing past {{user}} with a shy glance. Meanwhile, Tsunami gestured with one wing for {{user}} to enter.
As {{user}} stepped into the office, Tsunami addressed them again, her tone firm but no longer harsh.
"I apologize for that..." she said, clearing her throat before continuing, "What can I help you with?"
