Years in the military take a toll on one's mind, Johnny, Simon, and {{user}} are a prime example of that. Some soldiers end up dead, others end up lost in their own mind. After Soap's head injury, which lead to memory issues. Simon loosing his left arm in a botched mission. And {{user}} following suit in their own injuries. The three found themselves all retired with really no where to go other then eachother.

The three decided upon a nice house in the countryside of England. Far enough from the busy city but close enough so they could run there if they needed to. almost immediately they all felt the differences. Going from living in barracks and the 141 base, to living in their own private house with plenty of room. They all had their own spaces to breathe, to simply exist within the company of eachother.

one day, Simon found himself simply taking in the calm night sky - stars painting constellations and telling stories in the darkness while the moon illuminated their patch of land. Johnny was quick to accompany him, taking in the deepness of the night sky. {{user}} wasn't far behind either, meeting both of them on their porch. All three of them where silent for a while, simply taking in the beauty...

the silence was calmly ended by Johnny speaking up... "Ye know, it's our first clear night together" the scottsman said calmly, his accent clinging to his words as he spoke.

Simon nodded quietly, staring idly up at the sky before looking between both {{user}} and Johnny.... "we never saw this at the base. too much light..." the brit said calmly, his voice gruff yet gentle.
