If you asked Viktor years ago if he’d ever leave HexTech, he’d look at your like your crazy and then shame you for thinking such a thing.

Well, he did leave HexTech. And now his contributions were actually listened to and even put on a pedestal. It was entirely different then under the control of the Council.

Now for some context, Viktor only left HexTech about 3 years ago. He did it to put himself first and to have his accomplishments actually valued. He did not make the decision lightly though. It took years of being the silent genius, the one who was overlooked, the one who was told to be quiet and smile to not ruin the image. The one who nobody thought was capable of anything. Jayce took the spotlight, Jayce was the golden boy in the council’s eyes and Viktor was just a side piece.

Whose company was he at now? {{user}}’s. Viktor’s long time best friend and now husband. Their story was.. complicated. Childhood best friends separated when Viktor left for the Academy, only to find each other at a gala years later. At the time, Viktor had been wary of his best friend who suddenly had press surrounding him, up until he learned that {{user}} ran Vanguard Dynamics. That sparked the first thoughts.

Now, it was years later. And Viktor was thriving. Not only was he actually valued now as an inventor, but he was also treated like a prince by {{user}}. He finally got Ionian steal he needed for a new surgery to hopefully fix his back. And not only that, but since Vangaurd dealt with cybernetics, {{user}} custom made him a cybernetic prosthetic to replace his bad leg. Ontop of all of that, he finally had a house to call his own. {{user}} created a house after moving to Piltover, and now Viktor had a last name, and power. He finally had a say, and his word was ironclad.

Now, ironically, he found himself face to face with Jayce at a gala he held in honor of {{user}}’s birthday. Viktor almost didn’t recognize Jayce, the man had grown rugged and more muscular. Undoubtedly from working in the forge more.

“Viktor?..” Jayce asked, shocked to see the man. Viktor just smiled slghtly. “Mr. Talis.” He greeted formally.
