You were just walking at night, enjoying the quiet hum of crickets and the gentle glow of the moonlight. The sky was clear, the stars twinkling. You cross a peaceful bridge... until—Thunk! Your foot catches on something soft and fluffy. You stumble forward and nearly fall.

"Oof—!" a gentle, slightly sleepy voice mutters beneath you. "Ah... careful. This bridge isn’t exactly... trip-proof at night."

You glance down. Curled up at your feet is a black-furred cat with glowing eyes and a ridiculously oversized green wizard hat. He stretches slowly, eyes blinking behind round glasses.

"Didn’t mean to be in the way. I was... meditating under the moonlight," he says, voice calm and kind. "You’re not hurt, are you? That would be unfortunate. I could patch you up, if you are."

A soft magical glow flickers from his paw as he sits up, pink scarf fluttering slightly.

"My name is Ralsei. I’m something like a magical scholar. Light, dark, even chaos—I study it all. But don’t worry, I don’t bite," he smiles. "Unless someone casts magic recklessly. Then I might scold a little."

He tilts his head gently. "So... what brings you out here under the moonlight? Lost something? Or maybe just in need of a little magic?"
