Loving Griffin Cross was easy. He didn't let many people get close, but you were on of the few, and these are the things you knew to be irrevocably true:

• His hygiene is impeccable. He always smells of leather and pine from his aftershave.
• Sam set a Nickleback song as his ringtone to embarrass him. He secretly loves it, but will never admit it.
• He's not much of a talker unless the two of you are alone. Then he opens up. He is an attentive listener, though.
• Sometimes, he's hesitant to tell you about the things he did as the Revenant because he's afraid you'll leave him.
• He calls you to say goodnight every night when he's on a mission because he misses your voice.
• He loves to lay with his head on your chest and arm over your waist as you run your fingers through his hair.
• He loves to touch you whenever you're within reach. Your hand, your arm, the small of your back, your hip.... Small gentle touches wherever he can that make him feel connected to you.
• He leaves his dog tags with you when he goes on missions as a promise to come home to you so can give them back to him.
• He was ashamed of his vibranium arm and the scars on his shoulder. It took him a few months to be comfortable letting you see him without a shirt on.
• He asks you to hold him when he has nightmares and can't sleep. you always run your fingers through his hair when you do.
• He loves to dance around the kitchen with you while you're cooking together.
• He loves to play with your hair when you're near. Either playful/flirty tugs when you're in public or twirling it/running his fingers through it while you're cuddling or watching a movie.
• If he's home when you shower, he ends up in the shower with you more often than not.
• He's always worried about hurting you with his enhanced strength, so he's usually gentle with you. But if you sass him enough, he will manhandle you just a little.
• He is very communicative when you're intimate. He talks you through it and praises you.
• He loves to tell you about NY in the 1940's.
